Opera Instituti Archaeologici Sloveniae (OIAS) is a scholarly monograph series established in 1995 by the Institute of Archaeology at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU). The series provides a platform for the publication of original, high-quality research in archaeology.

OIAS is dedicated to the systematic presentation of archaeological research, with a particular focus on individual sites, material culture, and broader historical processes in the region between the Adriatic Sea and the Danube. Since its foundation, the series has become an established venue for the publication of major archaeological research projects, covering the full chronological span from the Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages.

The thematic scope of the series is intentionally broad, reflecting the diversity of contemporary archaeological research. In addition to comprehensive publications on individual sites and monographic studies, the series also welcomes edited volumes presenting the results of thematic research collaborations and scientific conferences.

All submissions are expected to meet high academic standards and contribute substantially to current archaeological discourse. Manuscripts are subject to a rigorous editorial and peer-review process.
