Our program aims at launching a long-term multidisciplinary collaboration network between Frech (EDYTEM, University of Savoie, dr. Fabien Arnaud, dr. Pierre Sabatiere) and Slovenian (University of Ljubljana, NTF, Department of geology, dr. Andrej Šmuc and ZRC SAZU, Institute of archaeology, dr. Maja Andrič) scientists interested in studying Holocene sedimentary sequences of Alpine lakes. A particular focus will be on studies of erosion fluxes and past vegetation, which are dependent on regional climate and land-use.
