The Stone Project Hosted International Students
Published on: March 17, 2026In collaboration with the team from the ERC Stone project (ZRC SAZU), the Department of Geology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana, hosted international students (Erasmus) last week. Dr. Elena Leghissa introduced them to the Ljubljansko barje and an archaeological park Morostig (a pile dwelling settlement), and under the guidance of Dr. Lucija Grahek, they toured the permanent collection at the National Museum of Slovenia. Over the following days, she also took them on a tour of Škocjan and its surroundings, as well as the Bela Krajina region.
