Final event of the Irschen project

You are kindly invited you to the final event of the Irschen Irschen (Erasmus)project, which will take place on Monday 6 February from 11.00 in the Atrium of ZRC SAZU.

As part of the event, Dr. Gerald Grabherr from the University of Innsbruck, will present the archaeological excavations of the Late Antique settlement of Burgbichl in Austrian Carinthia.

In the last two years, the remains of two Early Christian churches, a water cistern, walls and residential buildings were discovered on it.
